First there was Havaianas Flip Flop, then Havaianas Trainers I wonder if they are going to move into Havaianas shoes. It would be great to have some leather shoes from Havaianas they are good for work. I walk into work everyday and it takes about 40 minutes. In summer it’s fine as I can wear flip flops but it’s not so good in winter. Though the trainers would be good, if I have a meeting I can’t quite get away with wearing them, therefore shoes is the answer.
I’ll try to send some subliminal messages to Havaianas to start making them.
I’ve decided that it’s time to get a new pair of flip flops. Going to go to Flip flop and Away to get myself a pair of the gold slim Havaianas as they look great, the picture doesn’t do them justice.
Exciting news, Havaianas have started bringing out a range of World Cup Flip Flops. They are great looking and a good way to support your team. I’ll be getting myself a pair as long as a football shirt and will have my fingers and toes crossed that England do well this year.
It’s 11 days into May now and there is no chance of wearing Havaianas, it’s absolutely freezing. It feels more like February than May. I’ve checked the weather foreast though and things are on the up by the end of the week it’s going to be nearly 20 degrees and lots of sun. Let’s hope the forecast lasts and we have that great summer we are owed.
I’m going to get my black flip flops on as soon as there is any sign of warmth.
One of the first posts I wrote about on this blog was how it is that you spell and say Havaianas but there are still a lot of mistakes. It’s not surprising really as it’s not a a simple word to write or to say. The main way it’s misspelt is Havianas which is close but not cigar.
I read today that it’s been predicted that it’s going to be the hottest summer for more than 20 years and I really hope that is the case.
Firstly we’ve got the world cup coming up so it would be great to have days in the beer garden, watching the game in the hot sun. Also it would if it’s good weather I plan to have nationality based barbeques throughout the world cup, starting with a Brazilian barbeque.
I’m getting my summer clothing ready and my Havaianas flip flops and I’ll hope that the summer does occur this year.
Today was officially the hottest day of the year so far and if you were like you me you got outside and enjoyed it. I ended up having a barbeque for my tea.
I really hope that the weather stays like this especially for the world cup. It’s time to get the summer clothes out and get on a pair of Havaianas Flip Flops.
Music –there might not be a lot of Brazilian music in the UK charts but Brazil has been very influentioal for the range, style and quality of music it produces. Samba is the most famous style of Brazilian music and dance. Most of the music at carnival is samba, or heavily influenced by Samba. Samba has distinctive drumming, and an up tempo rhythm.
One of the other famous syles of Brazilian music is Bossa Nova, this was started in 1956 by Joao Gilberto and is still going from strength to strength. There are many famous Bossa Nova songs including The Girl from Ipanema, which won a Grammy in 1956 for Record of the Year.
If you would like some Brazilian Swarovski Havaianas visit Flip Flop and Away.
